Episode summary Sam is shaken when she has to look into the death of a very dear friend, Dr. Annabelle Evans, a Cambridge professor. She was found in her home, badly beaten in what appears to be a botched burglary attempt. Episode summary Gemma Boyd, an attractive 17-yr old, is found dead at the bottom of a staircase. Although the cause of death was a broken neck, there is little to indicate whether she fell or was pushed. She was found in a vacant house that her estate agent mother and step-father were selling. Fun and viewer review It was quite interesting episode - at least so interesting that while browsing trough the channels and there was nothing, then it caught my attention even if I had never seen it before. And to be honest, I have no doubts I decided to watch it - it was worth it. It looks to have great chars and the case itself was really exciting too - all the mystery, the doubts.. and somehow it was little confusing too, the ending specially - as I did not get what had happened. I still am not sure who was behind Gemma's dead.. but I am not native speaker and the channel was somehow not showing subs.. so I might have missed it but still... the end started to get really excited when that girl ran into the house and.. I was really surprised - this is the end?

Episode summary
1)A UFO is shot down over Scotland while it was sending a signal into space. Frustrated by the RAF cover-up, the pilot who downed the craft teams up with a scientist who caught its transmission to find out what craft was.
2)After one of their pilot shoots down an mysterious aircraft over Scotland, the RAF is determined to find out who or what was flying the plane. Meanwhile, a group from SETI is recruited to investigate a possible extraterrestrial message.

Fun and viewer review
I saw this on TV years ago and was surprised on how it ended on such a grim note.  They used every movie cliche to fight off the aliens and none of them worked.  The only option they had left is to nuke every spot on Earth to keep them from getting a foothold in order to farm us.  Very grim and I loved it.  I wanted to see how it ends but it was never picked up to continue as a series.

Episode summary 1)A mother is brutally raped and left to bleed to death in the boot of her car. Rachel identifies a suspect during house-to-house investigations. Rachel tells Nick that that she is pregnant, then agonises over whether to have an abortion. DCI Gill Murray agrees to allow Janet to work on the Veronica Hastings murder, and puts her in touch with the original SIO. 2)Having coerced Nick into buying her a flat Rachel discovers she is carrying his child but decides against a termination. She also successfully traps the murderer of housewife Susan Metcalfe but gets an unexpected and grisly bonus which leads to another death and another charge. Janet, dreading her wedding anniversary party, presses on with the long cold murder case of her slain school friend Veronica, though the retired officer who passes his files onto her believes she was murdered by a serial killer still at large.

Fun and viewer review Excellent programme, I've watched all of them but i still don't know who killed Ed Gallagher in Series 3 edisode 3. Was it his son? (His mother wouldn't put it past him!) or was it the guy who had Ed's car parked outside his house?
